Two Bitch™ Bourbon's Naughty Nog

‘Twas a quiet night in Whoville, and the Grinch had a thought:
“Eggnog with bourbon? Let’s see what they’ve got!”
“Eggnog with bourbon? Let’s see what they’ve got!”
Through a window he peeked, with his eyes all aglow,
For there on the counter stood a bourbon he’d know.
“Two Bitch™ Bourbon,” he whispered, his green grin so wide,
“I’ll sneak just a sip—maybe two, maybe five!”

With a sip, then a gulp, his mood quickly lifted,
He felt something strange—his heart? It had shifted!
He felt something strange—his heart? It had shifted!
He poured one more glass, just to test out his theory,
And suddenly, the Grinch felt shockingly cheery.
And suddenly, the Grinch felt shockingly cheery.
He hollered and laughed, not a grump left in sight,
That Naughty Nog turned his wrongs into right.

For even the grouchiest can’t stay aloof,

INGREDIENTS
Makes 8 servings.
- 4 cups whole milk
- ¾ cup sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 ½ cups Small Batch With Bite™
- grated nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
1.In a saucepan, gently bring 2 cups milk just to a simmer then turn off the heart before it boils.
2. Combine egg yolks (yolks only) and sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth. It will begin to lighten in color.
3. Carefully whisk 1 cup of the warm milk into the yolk-sugar mixture to temper the eggs. Add this back to the milk in the pan, stirring over low heat until thickened and blended. Turn off the heat. Immediately stir in the cream.
4. Make an ice bath for the pan - a large bowl half-filled with ice water. Place pan in the ice bath. Stir occasionally, until chilled.
5. In a festive punch bowl combine cooled mixture with remaining milk and Two Bitch™ Bourbon.
6. In a clean mixing bowl, beat egg whites until they form soft peaks. Fold this mixture into the nog.
7. Top with freshly grated nutmeg. Serve in a small rocks, coupe or Moosehead glass. A little goes a long way!
